Interesting Case From History
When looking at the UFO/UAP topic, there is a long history to delve into. Ancient hieroglyphics,, Native American cave paintings, ancient carvings and tablets, and even word of mouth passed down for generations tell of people that have come down from the sky, or Star People.
I found this interesting bit in my research that I would like to share. It’s nothing that would convince the hard core sceptic, but I find it interesting. It was from Harpers Weekly all the way back 1865. This was titled “The Union Army Entering Richmond.”
if you look carefully, you can see what appears to be definite disc-shaped object floating above the city’s ruins. Not a smudge, but something that looks to be intentionally drawn.
You may ask, What’s the big deal? It’s just something weird in an old art depiction. And you would have a valid point.
BUT…there is a reason to give this representation a second look. This representation was connected to something that was very unique at the time of the events depicted in this artwork. There was a nearby 1864 Civil War report of a “white object” in the sky, During the Civil war, this was pretty rare.
Whether by pure chance, deliberate meaning, or some unusual circumstance, it continually reminds us that history is often right before our very eyes, waiting to be noticed and understood.
